Alright so in the coming months I plan to build a PC, I am having trouble looking for an Intel CPU. There are so many and well I would really like some help, I am mostly gonna be using the computer for gaming and am not really planning to overclock. Any help would be really appreciated and some guidance to picking out a good processor would also be nice!  :)

what's your budget?

if it doesnt really matter, the i5-4690k is always the cpu to go when it goes for gaming.

edit: just read that you dont really plan to overclock, if you want to save some money, the i5-4460 is good too.

if you want more performance, you can always switch out the msi for the 970 g1 gaming by gigabyte. clocked faster and is cool and quiet

windows can be bought here www.reddit.com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap bought it from there. fast and easy

same price :( i wish they were still like 200 tho

although the 290's are like 280, but i would rather get a 970 than those tbh

290x $270 with an extra 0.5gb vram and alot better open cl
