Crysis 3 interesting discovery

So i was playing around with crysis 3 this evening and since im selling my 690 and will be buying a single 770 lightning edition and adding a second later on, i decided to disable one of the gpu's to get an idea of how my games will run and look. What i noticed about crysis 3 was that at bare minimum settings it doest look overly different from max settings (excluding changes in aa settings). draw distance changes ever so slightly and alot of the finer details are decreased but overall quality it still looks outstanding at bare minimum. im sure alot of people already knew this so this is probably somewhat of a pointless post but im just curious, if anyone would agree with my next statement about settings, i set everything to low except for post processing as it seems to add a bit off aa and some colour depth so thats max and then set particles to max as well because i like all the random floaty stuff in the air then went with 4x smaa and the visual difference was almost un noticeable between max with fxaa and these settings however with these settings edges looked better and the game ran better :)

 

so other than how many people agree with this im curious as to what other users are using in terms of settings for this game and what your system specs are :) mine can all be found in my sig just remember i disabled multi gpu so in a sense instead of a 690 i have a 680, i overclocked the single chip to help makeup for the fact its underclocked from a typical 680

I have a 7970 OC'd and I run with aa off, af 16x all settings on ultra except particle effects and post processing are on high. At these settings it is playable rarely dips below 40 fps average is likely around 50-55

i assume at 1920x1080? either way i suppose thats another good way to go maybe ill give it a shot and see how it looks and runs :)
