Just build a desktop recently, was able to game and surf for the first few days without problem, however this past 3 days it keep auto restart randomly, checked mine event log and it show that it's error code 41, the error could be caused if the system stop responding, crashed or lost power unexpectedly.

So I am wondering is it that mine psu couldn't support mine rig?

My specs are:

Asrock z97 killer

I5 4690

Gtx 970

8Gb ram

128gb crucial ssd

1tb hdd

Psu is Fsp 500w gold

Should I get a higher watt psu?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Try using other psu, had same things with FSP, never with seasonic.

Also it could be overheating or mobo problem, but psu is the point to start with.

Alright, will buy a higher watt psu to try since I don't have a spare psu. Thanks

As far as all psu's are 'high-tech', stores could decline refunds, so be careful.

500w is enough for such system, but quality means a lot, FSP had good psu's in past, but now I prefer seasonic. Hope it will help.
