Red Dragon Desk

I have seen a slew of different ideas about taking a desk and mounting your hardware in a cutout of the desk. I personally like the idea and have come up with my own version to match my theme. Just wondering if there is anything i should know about before i begin. Anyone familiar with doing this?

I'd totally be willing to pay up to like, 350$ or so for one of those if you were willing to make and then sell kits.

Chatting with @XYOUNEED is probably your best bet. He is local expert, check out his build, the xdesk.

Just a guy who peaked at building back in the days of the GTX 980. If you see me here, assume i have technical knowledge akin to a committed hobbyist builder back then. If something's changed, you'll need to tell me(nicely plz). I'm probably asking for help with the modern build scene since I have no clue what's going on.
