i am looking to buy a new monitor, I want a 4k but 1440p is in my price range but 1440p is about 2 years old know and i would like to have a up to date monitor.

my computer can run both

I am waiting for a monitor that has freesync on a 4k that is around 500 but im not sure that will be able to be done. So i need help Im not sure what to buy

and like i said before my computer is able to run any game on 4k

Stick with 1440p for now wait for 4k to be the standard and dropped in price.
