Build Graphics Card

Get the 2gb 270x or wait for AMD's 300 series. And get 2 sticks of ram to take advantage of dual channel

The motherboard he went for has 2 slots for ram so 2 sticks of ram would fill up all the slots limit his ability to add more ram. Dual channel has absolutely no benefit for gaming that it shouldn't be considered

source TL;DR:

  • Almost no noticeable difference in gaming. (Sorry, did I say "almost?" I meant "no noticeable difference.")

I have a build that i created:http://pcpartpicker.com/p/KKhvCJand you guys told me that there was a problem with the graphics card i chose. I am going to upgrade my computer later.

Mate it is due to you buying the 4gb version, ignore that and get the 280x for the same price. The card is miles better

CPU-i5 4690k 4.4ghz @ 1.190V, MOBO-MSI z97 gaming 3, Cooler-hyper 212 evo, GPU- r9 290x asus directcuII (-37Mv), Storage-120gb v300(switching soon), 1tb caviar blue, CASE-Red/black h440, PSU-Antec TPC 650.

^This

of if the 280x is still too big try going for the ITX versions of the R9 285 or 970.

Because a 4GB R9 270x seems like a waste of money when there are better choices.
