A client sent me a computer with an ASUS Maximus VII Ranger MB, running dual video cards. The client states that when using a single VC in the lower PCIE slot, it won't produce any video.

Troubleshooting the system with a known-good VC, I ran into the same issue. I went through the BIOS and enabled a setting called interrupt 19 capture. After that, the system started to produce video, from the single VC installed into the lower PCIE slot.

A few questions come to mind. What the heck is interrupt 19 capture? When running two VC's in SLI, does it benefit to have this setting on or off? And just plain WTF?
