Hi all! i was haveing trouble with something hope someone can help me out! The thing is there are two hdmi sources a desktop pc and a laptop my friend asked me is it possible to transfare somehow all these signals in to a 4k able big screen monitor whit sound and every thing. Im not an expert but i was thinkinh abaout a hdmi switch witch is 4k able is it possible? Please help me out. Hr also said he wants to run 2 usb device a keyboard and a mouse so maybe the solution is a 4k able hdmi switch wich supports atleast two usb hubs will these devices run like this? So as i understanded him he wants to use the bigscreen 4k monitor with sound and everything but with the same desktop pc wich already has a normal 22' screen like the pc is in an other room or something like that all he wants is the big screen only with keyboard and mouse and sound thx for help already and sorry for the weak explaination but this is what i understod from his worlds thx!

You don't need a switch to connect HDMI to a 4k display through HDMI. You only use 1 connector for HDMI and using 2 would not do anything. You can just plug it in like any display. As for a USB hub, you can just go buy one for relatively cheap prices. However, don't expect to be doing very much of anything at 4K unless you have a VERY powerfull computer to drive it. Backround knowlage: HDMI carries Video and Sound. It supports 4k at up to 30hz (so technically you max FPS would be 30)
