To change your fan control enter UEFI, click Advanced Mode then Monitor, find CPU Fan Speed and change it to ignore.

As for your HDD make sure all the cables are connected properly, also run disc management and make sure it has a letter assigned to it.

Installed windows on my 240GB Intel 730 series. I keep getting a cpu fan error because I water cooled the cpu. But it just puts me into EFCI everytime never boots into windows. Is this a ssd boot issue or because I keep getting that cpu fan error? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What board is it?

ASUS Sabertooth Mark1. I got it to boot off the ssd into windows but now its not reading my hdd. It was reading it than I unplugged it to install windows turned off than plugged it back in, now its not reading the WD 1tb

You might need to go to Device Manager to format the WD 1TB if I'm not wrong. If you don't have any information / data in the HDD. You can try to reformat it to see if it works. At least for my friend, it works.
