Hi,

I've had occasional problems with boot with my Hero board.  Occasionally, after my computer shutdown, I turn it back on and it comes with the boot screen with the ROG Logo and "Please press delete or F2 to enter UEFI BIOS" and then it freezes and never boots into Windows.  This only happens occasionally (about 1/10) of the time, but it can be really annoying and I'd like to see if I can fix it.

System Specs:

Asus ROG Maximus VII Hero

Intel Core i7 4790k @ 4.0GHz turbo 4.4GHz

Corsair H75 Liquid Cooler

16GB G.Skill Trident X 2133MHz SDRAM

120 GB Crucial SSD (Windows 8.1 OS) and 1TB WD 7200 RPM HDD

InWin 800 Watt PSU

2x NVIDIA Gtx 660's

I have my BIOS updated to the latest version and also have all the Chipset and drivers (latest) installed.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Dautin

I only have the SSD enabled in the boot order.

This only happens occasionally, most of the time it boots into Windows perfectly fine.

But it still happens enough to be annoying.

Also, when it doesn't boot, I have to hold down the power button to shutdown.
