Easy to use equalizer software?

So I recently bought Superlux HD 681 evo, which is a bargain for it's price, 50mm drivers, better than most gaming headset build quality, semi open design with big sound stage, comes with extra velour pads, thick and robust removeable cable, and carrying pouch all for $45.

I do have a little problem with it however, it sounds a bit muddy for me despite all the good praise it received, so I followed advice and remove the inner foam, sounds clears up a lot but the highs as they are calling became too harsh. I need an easy to use equalizer, any suggestion? .

I'm guessing you need it for your PC. In that case you can use the EQ that came with your sound card drivers.

It's actually a laptop. Any idea where I can find it, I take a look inside control panel but no sign of it.

It's probably an app (something like ViaHD or Realtek). Check under all programs

It's realtek, I take a look into it multiple times and find nothing, and then I realize for some reasons the sound effect tab is missing. I'm downloading the new driver and see what happen next.

Still can't get it, any other suggestion? I use the on on itunes but it only works for the itunes, not others like chrome or video games.

Not all drivers provide a EQ. I don't know of any that will really give you this feature.

 

EDIT: the guy above me clearly does.

You can try the app that is linked above but I usually use the equalizer built into Foobar2000 if I need one.
