Need help. Choosing Graphics Card

Go to solution Solved by Techdude154,

Oh yes I forgot to add it I have 500W power supply, I think I will be getting to R9 270X as lot of people say but which one should i get? MSI, Sapphire or Gigabyte?

There is hardly any difference between the cards. MSI afterburner works with all 3. The MSI card has the highest boost clock by 20 MHZ, followed by the gigabyte, followed by the Sapphire. It really comes down to the brand preference, there really is no difference

I brought this PC while ago and It have integrated graphics card in a CPU or something like this I'm not sure and I would like to get a new graphics card that will run games if possible on high performance.

So this is what I have:

Motherboard - Gigabyte F2A68HM-HD2

CPU - AMD FM2 A8 6600K Quad Core

Memory - 8GB DDR3 1600mhz

Hard Drive - 1TB Seagate

Case - Cit Goblin Greeen

I am looking to get a video card for about £100. I am thinking to get MSI GTX 750Ti for £120 but I am not sure if it will run on my system.- http://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-1085MHz-1163MHz-DL-DVI-D-Graphics/dp/B00I602S92/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1424872804&sr=8-1&keywords=msi+750ti

If you know any better or similar video card that will run on my system please comment it. Thanks.

It'll depend on your PSU. If it's 350W+ and has the necessary 6/8 pin connectors, then it'll be fine.

a 750ti only needs 65w of power so powers up ply probably isn't an issue. a 660ti might be do able at £100 which would be a good card. or as suggested above a 270x

My 750ti runs comfortably on my 300W power supply, it's a good card for prebuilts, but not for anyone who has the power headroom.

Imo, depending on your power supply, you should get a R9 270 for the same price

If your power supply can handle it, I would get an R9 270x, that blows the 750 ti out of the water for around the same price. If you have a lower power PSU, however, the 750 ti is still a great card.
