Two tips: Make your videos <10 minutes and play background "lobby" music quietly in the background if you aren't talking fast

Want a good game to play?  Check out Shadowrun: http://store.steampowered.com/app/300550/ (runs on literally any hardware)

another 12 core / 24 thread senpai...     (/. _ .)/     \(. _ .\)

@Arty Something crafty.  And no crafty does not equal girly.    Wood working?  Model building?   One of my favorite YouTube channels is ILikeToMakeStuff.  He's a carpenter but occasionally ventures into slightly off-topic ideas.  Maybe his channel can inspire something.

But yes, what dr_deconstruct said about the video duration.  Keep them short.    Use your editing program to cut out your breaths and pauses.  Speed up slow-moving segments that you don't want to remove.

cool stuff :)

Also make sure and define any "techie" terms to some extent; it really helps you gain an audience.  For example, if you are talking about hardware, don't say "I'm going with an LGA 1150 Z97 board so we can OC the CPU"  Instead say something more like "I'm going with a motherboard that has the proper socket for our CPU, that being socket LGA 1150, and a Z97 chipset so we can overclock the *insert CPU sku*"

Sure.  That'd be neat.

Make sure your videos have purpose; show the work in progress or how something is done.  Just showing off the end result isn't very informative.  Most people don't just want to see what you have, they typically want to see how you got/made it.

Also, tripod.

Edit// If you make a video about the printer, give a quick tour on how to set up the printer itself and how the software is used.  I know how to put ink cartridges in an inkjet printer, but I have no idea how to "load" a 3D printer with the material.  That would be neat to have in a video, too.
