Hello Guys,

I did a fresh install of win 8.1 on my ssd (it was on my hdd before which now i use for storage) and i did all the win.updates etc and after that i downloaded geforce experience in order to get the latest drivers for my gtx 970. After installing the drivers and restart ofc.. :) i went into Nvidia Control Panel in order to enable DSR,MFAA and ADAPTIVE V-SYNC and hit apply, then when i opened the NCP again i saw that only DSR was enabled and mfaa and adaptive v-sync were NOT.?!

Can you please help me guys about this issue.

Thanks ;)

Fixed it

Go to C:programData/NvidiaCorporation  and right click on the folder

Make sure Everyone has full control

Most likely Full control and modify are not enabled

Go to C:/programData

Find the folder NvidiaCorporation and right click it and select properties.

Select Securities tab and if you highlight "Users" you can see the folder permissions and make sure Full Control and Modify have a check mark under Allowed

Most likely they don't so click Edit button and highlight users put a check mark on full control and modify then hit apply.

Try running NCP as Admin, see I'd that helps.

Yes, I went into the control panel and i checked the ncp to run as admin and after that "right click on the mouse and ncp everything works perfectly as it saves the mfaa and the adaptive v-sync" but the strange thing is that in game (tested on Assasins creed unity) i cant tell that the adaptive v-sync doesent work because i get like 68fps (dont know how to check if mfaa is working) so i am bit confused about my issue here. :(

No real way to test if mfaa is working. Go to your games list in geforce experience and find a game that supports it and see if it's set to on.
That way you know the game supports it and will be using it.

Also with mfaa 2x= 4x msaa
4x = 8x msaa

Yo dudes :)

I was talking with some agent from NVIDIA and he explained when we want to enable MFAA,DSR,ADAPTIVE V-SYNC etc.. we should run the nvidia control panel as administrator and apply our settings. And after that we should run our GAMES as ADMINISTRATOR so actually the game itself can apply (mfaa, adaptive v-sync etc...). I tried this method and it works, so i just throw this our so you guys can now

Happy Gaming :)
