Chin-up bars?

Hi!

 

it is ViruZ  but with another account, I am currently on a vacation on Thailand. I got really bad skin so I got sun burn so I have to sit in for today:( . So I cannot go into the 30°c sea water today:(( only after sun went down. So I have to wait for a while:0.

 

However, as I am siting in here with my damn laptop I am learing exercices I can do at home in order to build muscles. Some of the effective exercites requies a few tools.

 

I really miss chin-ups and push-ups, as they are cheap to preform and it don't take a whole alot of expensive stuff. The main tool is something called "chin-up" bars. And I want one.

 

 

However, Would you recommend me them?. I've seen a few videos where the chin-up bar in the door have came louse and the man hanging on it fell down, which coudl lead toa  serious damage.  If I for example hang on that bar with my back facing the ground and it comes louse... I may break my back, which could lead that I wont be able to use my body.

 

 

So for those who have it?, could you recommend them?

But I don't really understand how it stays on the door so it do not break? it do not need screws or what?=

as long as the trim on your door is not thin it will work at least ~.4 inchs i would say

It need to be able to clip and hang.

aha thats how it works, that may be a problem-.- I don't really know how strong those stuff or on my doorway. I never tried to hang myself on them . I may find a way to make them stronger

why don't you try and grab with your hands and try and pull up/chin up which ever is easier just for a test

(it will be really hard to grip )

Well I know what kind of screws it is hold with, they are like 3-4 cm long screws and there is 3-4 of them..
