Computer Overheating With Hyper 212 Evo

Computer gets to 70C on like half load.Even hit 74 before thermal throttling my game.I have a AMD 8350 and I idle at 40C with a HYPER 212 EVO.At first thought I set it wrong.Reset it and double checked even replacing thermal paste and same issue.Whats going on ?

 

 

CPU : AMD8350

MOTHERBOARD : Asrock Extreme 3

Is that Socket temp or CPU package temp ?

check cooler for defects and make sure fan is spinning

it's your boards cheapo vrm's mate, undervolt and you'll be much happier.
4ghz with <1.35v and no loadline calibrations should do it.

edit-im on the silent profile right now with the fan around 600rpm

I had a similar set up a while back. 8120 and an Extreme 3 990FX and it would throuttle down my CPU even with the temps where low.  I don't think its the CPU that's thermal throttling. 

I think it was the VRAM over heating. I could be wrong.

well by the looks of it you should be fine , by that it says your CPU has only got to 56c , max is 65c for the 8350
