Yep. Windows Refresh uninstalls literally everything (yes, even drivers, because that apparently makes sense to microsoft. Or at least that's what happened when I last tried it).

 

Explore any and every other option before doing that refresh.

OK, thank you, is using windows refresh a good option?

if you don't have the option to format and reinstall windows I guess it's fine

How are the games installed? If games are in Steam, after the refresh, steam will "repair" itself and then, the game will appeared as installed. Once you launch them, it will take a few seconds to launch (they will install prerequisites), but you won't have to download them again

 

With Origin, I had to completely reinstall (Probably there is a way to avoid it, but is not as polished as Steam. I only had one game in Origin and a good connection, so I didn't really care
