That shouldn't be their only problem

KNOWN ISSUES WE ARE WORKING ON:

  • unsatisfactory performance on multi-GPU systems

I get 2x the performance if i just run the game without crossfire.

Well, AMD hasn't put out any drivers for the game so that's no surprise.

From what I've been reading and seeing on the OCUK forums a lot of it comes down to the developers actually putting in a bit of effort, not just AMD/Nvidia.

For example, CF isn't yet on FC4 (apparently) because Ubisoft has done something to prevent it working on AMD cards, or at least, not done anything to make it work.

Heyyo,

I'm leaning on game devs not doing anything to make it work.

Prime example? WarGaming. World of Tanks? NVIDIA SLI support was added in patch 8.4 (March 2013) and it continues to work good.. well, they did break SLI in patch 9.0... fixed it in 9.1... broke it again in 9.4... and accidentally fixed it in 9.5 since it's not in the patch notes haha wtf... anyways? AMD CrossFire never received official support on WoT and continues so, thus anyone who tries CF even in compatibility mode? Severe artifacting.

It's always a blame game back and forth with this stuff.

Usually when SLI works and CF doesn't, it's an AMD problem. (Although in FC4's case it could be some gameworks bullshit.)
