Kingston Hyperx Cloud mic not working

Just bought this headset brand new and the mic does not work. Reinstalled all my drivers, tried to update, change settings. It's not on mute and its enabled, what do i do?

do you mean your friends cant hear you thru skype or it doesnt work at all? if not, go rma it to hyperx.

Plug it in trough that "In-line dongle" and theres a special butto for microphone mute and audio sound try to play with those.

tried it with and without, muting and unmuting, nothing

Does recording settings detect your mic?

If you plugged it in, and it's not shown, try to show disconnected/disabled devices.

If it's not there, then your audio wouldn't be working (As I would assume the wire inside the braded cable has a ground, supply, mic and sound wires).

And if your audio works but mix doesn't, update drivers.. Oh wait, updated them already? Aight, go back to the store and tell them to replace the headsets.

ANNNNND IF THE SECOND, headset do not work, then it's an issue with your PC.
