Laptop under $1,000,

zlolslavez

My brother is currently looking for a laptop around $1,000 plus any storage upgrades (if it has a shitty 5400 RPM I'll upgrade to an SSD for him)

to do college work, as well as some medium gaming. (He doesn't really give 2 shits about graphics settings, and doesn't play demanding games but might as well get his money's worth. He wants a touch screen on it. He is currently eyeing a http://www.amazon.com/N550JK-DS71T-16-Inch-Touchscreen-i7-4700HQ-Windows/dp/B00IAA5BSS/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1423495567&sr=1-1&keywords=n550jk with a WD Black 2 SSD+HDD. Would there be any better options at this price point?

My friend at school has something that. It should be fine.

Does the Black2 come in 2.5" Form Factor?

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

The Black2 ONLY comes in a 2.5" form factor.

OP, double check if it can handle the 9mm drive form though.

The projects never end in my line of work.
