I have a MSI z97s sli plus motherboard that has an OC genie feature. I am using a stock cooler on my g3258 pentium processor so I didn't want to overclock it too much until I can get an aftermarket cooler. The overclocking genie overclocked my processor to 3.6 GHz at 1.2 volts which I thought was great for my purposes. The temps went up to 70 degrees while stress testing which is great and the normal temps is about 50 degrees. The problem is that the overclocking fails after a few days and I have to restore the settings to the default settings. I don't know what the problem is. Does anyone have any ideas?

Manually overclock. Also, the stock heatsink should be plenty for the G3258 (so I wouldn't get the hyper 212 unless you want something quieter).
