I have just built a new PC with 4790k, 970 STRIX, 16gb Vengeance pro, and now am faced with the problem that my monitor is ages slower than my PC.  My monitor is a 24" Acer G245HQ 1080p, it has a refresh rate of 60hz and a 5ms response time and its isn't an IPS panel either. So I diffidently need an upgrade, I'm mainly a gamer but I also do some photography, video editing, and some streaming. I would prefer a dual monitor setup but any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for taking a look at the post.

A 1440p monitor suggestion. It's Dell's ultrasharp line, for great color accuracy. And it's also 25", instead of the usual 27, if you love high pixel density.
