keyboard not fully working

Go to solution Solved by manikyath,

you might have damaged the ribbon cable / connector / keys of the keyboard. i suggest carefully checking the connector and cable for damage, and making sure the ribbon cable is properly inserted.

hi i went to upgrade the ram in my acer aspire laptop today which i have to completely take apart to acess the ram and when i turned it back on it started up fine but certin keys on the keyboard arent working i have attempted to make the ribbon calbe have a better connection but i seems as if there are still some keys that arent working. Any suggestions on what could be wrong i cant think of how to fix it everything else appears to be fine and it does sense the ram that i installed.
