Htpc gpu dilema

here are the htpc specs:

 

core 2 duo e8400

3gb ddr2 800mhz ram

mother msi p35 neo

hdd 160gb old sata seagate barracuda

and i have this 8500gt 256mb from msi with a fx5200 cooler I modified (because the original was very noisy and wasn't working well) but yesterday a friend lend me his hd 4350 512mb from sapphire I think with passive cooling.

which gpu is better

in the htpc i was planning to play full hd movies and series and some light gaming like Fifa

The 8500gt is getting 25 to 30 fps on fifa 14 and the hd 4350 22 to 24 fps overclocked and with a fan pointing to the passive cooler

The problem with older hardware like the 8500 is if you need hardware acceleration.

For light gaming, I would think you need better video card than either of the two you mentioned.
