Dynamic Super resolution

I got a lovely 980 on release and one of my favourite features is the DSR. It's basically just built in easy access supersampling for any game, my question is - Is there anyway to manually resize HUD elements and/or the steam overlay? Some games (skyrim, far cry, dishonored) do it automatically but some game I have noticed things like the minimal shrink to a tiny size (it actually looked kinda cool in Deus Ex: HR) making them tough to play and menus tough to navigate.

I am fully aware of that, what I was asking was if anyone knows of a way to do so
