Hello everyone! I am Aeido. I am a gamer. I have been gaming on multiple platforms, but my favorite is PC. I am also a novice builder, but I wouldn't be anywhere without LinusTechTips.

So lets get down to business.

About a year ago, I built my first gaming PC. It wasn't the best but it was fairly decent. I was able run all games in 60+ FPS, and I also utilized G-Sync. I couldn't have asked for more, but that has changed.

Here are the Specs of my current PC: Here

If you need more information please feel free to ask.

Reason for upgrading: I want to get into Twitch Streaming @ 30 FPS while maintaining 120+ FPS in games. Right now my current PC doesn't cut it. While streaming, my FPS dips to about 60-80 on low settings in most First Person Shooters and Third Person Shooters. I can see the difference and I can't stand it. I have gotten so used to 120+ FPS that I just can't go back to 60 FPS. So to conclude, I not only want good quality in-game, but I also want the quality of my stream to be great.

1. Budget & Location

$2000 USD

Zip: 30071

2. Aim

Gaming, Streaming, and Editing(Not a priority).

3. Monitors

Already taken care of. I will be running two Asus VG248QE. One is G-Sync Enabled, but the other is not.

4. Peripherals

Taken care of.

5. Why are you upgrading?

My PC is not performing the way I want it to while streaming and gaming.

Really and truly I am looking for advice on what to buy to upgrade my current set up. If I need to upgrade my GPU, get another GPU to run SLI, buy a new CPU, etc...I am for it. Also, if anyone has simple advice or even if you know a program that will help ease this process, please let me know.

Other important information

Nothing in my current build is OC'd

I stream with XSplit v2.1

My upload speed is about 25Mbps, so streaming with decent quality won't be an issue internet wise.

If I need to SLI my preferred case would be the Corsair Graphite Series 780T Full Tower PC Case, but if you think something is better, please do share.
