Go for it. For your first Hackintosh go for Niresh's as you can make the installation usb from windows and works quite well out the box from my personal experience.

Hey Guys,

I have an old system just sitting around in my room and I wanted to use it, Ive desided to go for a hackintosh but I dont know if they are going to work.

Unfortunatley it is a HP so I can only give you what they gave me.

 

SPECS ( #DontJudgeMe )

Intel core 2 duo E7500 @ 2.93Ghz

3GB DDR3 (1066 I think)

Nvidia Geforce G210

500GB 7500rpm HDD

 

Help much appreciated, 8
