just because you have a 3d monitor doesn't mean you need to use 3d having a 120/144hz panel is what a lot of fps gamers like to use. I can't say about the expereience since I went for 1440p over 120/144hz.

Its a good monitor the BenQ Xl2420T and Xl2720T are slightly better quality, but the asus ones are just about as good and are a better value since the BenQ ones are like $200 more.

the benQ is accually cheaper lol :P but doesnt have   144 hz

That is why it would be cheaper the nvidia vision kit is like $1000
