No video output (old computer)

I got an old computer some days ago, they told me its wasnt working.

I got home, connected it and it worked perfectly.

The next day when I tun it on, the power LED on the case lights up, HDD spins up and fans starts, but I get no picture on the screen, so i restarted it, still the same problem.

This seems to be the problem the last owner had.

I tried taking out the gpu, and connecting the display to the motherboard, still nothing.

Also the mouse and keybord dosnt seem to work, they are connected to ps2 ports on the motherbord

I reconnected all the cables, but without any results

 

Anyone got an idea what the problem could be?

I had the same issue about 2 weeks ago with my dads pc...

 

I had a spare Graphics card to test with.... and it was the graphics card

 

Some boards need the bios setting change to change the display output

Tested it, did not work

Also, the pc wont turn off without holding down the power button for 10sec or taking out the power cable

Unpluged and plugged inn everything, works now

when i saw that title i thought it meant there was no video output......that would have been your problem there
