With monitor and stuff? Cool. Its good for production stuff

Remember a wise man once said, "You'll most likely hear/see more bad reviews from products than good, because if they get a good product, they won't bother to write a review, and if they got a bad product, they'll complain about the product" ~ SoftenButterCream

You are getting inferior performance compared to a Intel build at that price. And bad performance for the price in general.

Eh, I would get it if it was more of a productivity build, and a little bit gaming. But since he labeled it as  gaming. You can get a i5 + B85 board

Not worth it for the price for a AM3+ platform.

And why bother with a R9 285 then?

Dont get amd cpus for gaming please.

My i3 is faster than that cpu.

I personally don't like i3s... The OP can afford a i5 build for gaming. Unless he plans to do productivity st.uff too, then its a overall good build

they are still faster than the 8350 for gaming even if most people dont like them.

Im not reccomending an i3 im just saying that cpu is so bad at gaming that it loses to an i3.

Not worth it for the price? Its still a good balance of editing, and gaming IF he plans to edit at all. Idk about the R9, but like I said since this is a strictly gaming build like he says it from the title, he should get a i5 + b85 board

I know its faster than a i3... But he can afford a i5/H81/B85 board at this price so why not?

Pentiums won't cut it in newer AAA games. Plus the OP has monitor, and OS, also keyboard in the price...

OP, if you really want a AMD build for whatever reason. You don't need the optical drive. Get 8 GB ram, and the Gigabyte UD3P motherboard, since your board has bad VRMS. But since its gaming, I think your better off with a i3 minimum, i5, and if your editing a lot, a xeon e3 1230 v3.

Lost the SSD for performance (the one he picked was poor anyways)
Upgrade path to a 4690k/unlocked chip
The cooler is not necessary but might as well...
