I have SLI 970 G1 Gaming cards and whenever I play games both my 970s getting 70c+ even with fan speed 100%.

After it hits 68c my performance dips to unplayable frame rates. Playing at 4K resolution.

Check your VRAM, there Is an issue where if you go over 3.5GB on some cards it pretty much dies, and being at 4K it could happen

Firstly SLI will cause a lot of heat especially on the one GPU thats why most SLI will go with blower style as the air doesnt get circulated in the case, its pulled out.

Also what setup you running? right on top of each other like this

Or with a Gap between the two like this

Wow, I thought it didn't impact game performance.

EDIT: I thought people said it was only a glitch in benchmarking or something like that.

Right after hitting 3.6GB of VRAM my system and game became unusable. I was hitting 3.9GB of vram used. I was unable to even close out the program until 1 min later (Valley Benchmark)

It even has a larger gap between them than the second image, huge gap.
