Future shop troubles

So in Canada one of the big box stores is future shop and I wanted to buy my blue yeti microphone from there because of the warranty service they provide (anything wrong you get a whole new mic) So online it said I could reserve it and pick it up in store, sweet. They also have a price beat promise and they will beat any other Canadian price online or in store by %10 and Costco (another big store a grocery store actually) had it for $100 cheaper so we did that it came to around $100 with the extended warranty and said it would take 1-2 days to get in (fine)So we went in today and they said wait another week (getting angry) and just 5 minutes ago I got a e-mail saying the store cancelled my order on me and if we dont do something in 5 days i wont get my money back! What should I do about this? order again? another place and pay more? I'm lost, help

Seems like future shop cancelled your order as they couldn't get the stock in on time.

 

It'd be best to ask for a refund.

That's pretty pathetic that they cancelled the order. I have a feeling that they did it to save money, but who knows? That may not be the case.

Can you order it from Costco? I'm going to, that's a great deal.

 

If you don't have a membership, try to find someone that does and get them to buy it for you or something.

I dont think you need a membership for online and the only reason i wanted to buy from future shop was the warranty they offer

You do need a membership online, unfortunately. The warranty is probably a bit of a gimmick since it has received rave reviews.

Futureshop (identical to best buy) changed their warranty program a year or so ago to actually make it work and they will actually replace products now! At least that's the situation with all the people I know that have tried their warranty (including myself).

futureshop isin't identical to best buy it is best buy they bought them back in like 01 or something like that..... but yes the plans on the mic's and speakers are can't repair the issue it will be replaced with same or = item normaly on those a store credit if the same item isn't avil.

*Update* My father was on a trip and picked one up while he was away in-store at a future shop
