Hey guys,

I have a Rampage IV Formula X79 motherboard. Unfortunately I bought 2 kits of (2X8GB) G-Skill Trident X Dual Channel 2400Mhz because they didn't have the Quad Channel kits in stock. I completely missed this on purchase day so now I have 2 of these that they wont take back:

I don't plan to run at 2400Mhz but I was hoping to get atleast 1600-1866Mhz out of it. These seem pretty similar to their quad channel brother: http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-2400c10q-32gtx in terms of timing with the only notable difference of having a D for dual instead of a Q for Quad in their product listing. Do you think I'll be able to get away with running these in Quad Channel?
