Hello,

Today I wanted to format my PC wich has Windows 8.1, and decided to test the option available on windows to put the computer with "the factory settings" (instead of booting from the installation disk). So, proceeded to do that, and windows asked me to put the Windows installation disk, which I did, and it asked me to restart the computer. After rebooting, it started it's work, but no image has appeared on the screen since. Some hours later, the computer was on idle, (doing nothing), it wasn't reading from the HDD nor from the installation disk and it wasn't showing anything so I force it to shutdown. Then I power it on, and yet, still no image, and the BOOT_DEVICE_LED is ON, which means that there is an error when looking for BOOT DEVICE.

The monitor I'm using is VGA, and the specs of the computer are: ASUS Sabertooth Z97 MARK 2, MSI GTX970, i5-4580, 2x8Gb 2400MHz.

Thank you for the attention.

IS there a code displayed on the motherboard?

Well, after a long day of testing, I can only conclude that with this computer, only works with one monitor that I have. Don't know why.

The boot device problem is now fixed, the LED stays ON while the "press any key to run CD or DVD" is on.

Sorry, for any trouble.
