Advise for overclocking?

I was wondering if my pc could handle over clocking(cpu+gpu)

 

would it be able to handle it?

 

if so what would you recommend?

 

System Specs

AMD fx 8150

XFX  radeon r9 270x

ASROCK 970 extreme3

1TB and 500GB HDD'S

Corsair Vengence 8GB (1x8) RAM 

Gelid solutuions cpu cooler

Cooler master v650 semi, 650 watt

Windows 8.1 Pro

couple of case fans

What frequency's would you recommend, i don't want to destroy my first pc

Start low, benchtest/stabilize, repeat until unstable then back off. Would estimate you could be ~4Ghz.

Thank you very much! What about the gpu? is it currently at 1050(stock) and can go up to 1400(useing CCC)
