My gaming / nas server pc

I just recently built my first pc so I am kind of new to this

but is it possible to use my gaming pc as a server for my files and my girlfriends files who lives in a different city and just access them from her laptop and mine? and how would i be able to do that?

It wouldn't be possible with just a network drive as that can't be shared outside of your network but you can try these ways

What you wanna dual boot between nas4free and windows? Sounds inconvenient to me, if possible. Use a cloud service or build your own. The WD mycloud goes for 130 bucks I think
