Rapport AV - thoughts?

Been having an issue with one of my clients since yesterday. Long story short - she opened a fake invoice email attachment and later on noticed that something was different when accessing her bank online.

 

One thing she got particularly annoyed about (with me) was my refusal to install Rapport which is what her bank recommended. I didn't because my boss said it was a PoS and not to do it.

 

 

So why I'm here - what are your guys' thoughts on Rapport? My boss right or the bank?
