Does anyone have any idea how well they scale? I know that one card at a weak overclock performs like a pseudo-7950 and at a high overclock performs like a pseudo-7970 but putting heat and microstuttering to the side how would my FPS be like in games? O.o is the scaling as good as the 660 TIs?

Crossfire is meh at the moment. Need better drivers, plox. Don't think it'll scale better than 660 Ti SLI. (imo)

Are you taking into account RadeonPro?

If it works properly for you, then I'd say it's equal.

The myths about horrible crossfire are just that .Although there is some microstutter in a few games....RadeonPro will help remove any micro stuttering....The new drivers come out July 31st so we will see if they fix the tiny bit of microstutter i have seen which was only in Far Cry 3..But if we wanna talk bad drivers then the new nvidia drivers have fried alot of cards.lol..I will take micro stutter any day over a fried GPU.. :)

xD yea a lot of the older cards have died from those drivers, what kind of fps are you seeing in games btw? your rig looks kinda similar to mine-ish

I believe scaling is fine although I haven't seen it ever cfed so it might not scale as well as 7770s 7970 etc.

Yea I haven't actually seen anyone do it so my best comparison is 7950s in xFire

7870s scale really well, and so do 7950s, I'd imagine they'd scale just fine

I actually plan to get an XT if the price drops when the 9000 series comes out.

xD I heard you like last generation cards? *looks at 6770*

Well I run with v-sync on so it might be abit hard to go off, but think of it this way, @ 1080p I've yet to have a game I can max out and get 60fps (farcry3, heavily modded skyrim, BF3, world of tanks, borderlands2 etc etc) only game i've not tried it on is Crisis 3.

I wonder what kinda fps I'll get on minecraft......................

xD I'm asking that because minecraft is in java and java is very bad because it can not make calculations between frames meaning the higher yours fps the faster you move in multiplayer :/ same for things like call of duty. So people with 300+ fps greatly outspeed me on my current Macbook Pro and my 100+ fps,
