My friend wants to start a YouTube channel. He has illegal cracked recording and editing software.

I don't support piracy, but he is my best friend, so I'm doing this topic for him (lazy bastard).

He wants to know if the cracked software will leave a mark or something in the video signature (or whatever), because he obviously wouldn't want people to know that he's using cracked software.

No it will not, rather than using cracked recording software use ShadowPlay or GVR that is free, editing will also not leave a mark. But if you're found out you are dead man online.

EDIT: Also support the people who makes them, buy it. Put some money into your channel and you'll get profits

What's that suppose to mean?

Worst case: The FBI/Interpol/SWAT will raid your house and put you in jail for three lifetimes...

Best case: It will leave a mark on the videos and fewer people will support you because of the annoying watermark...

The only way to find out is to try making videos and seeing if they leave watermarks...

It means your viewers, will likely go down drastically. Maybe your videos taken down.

Yea right... are you for real?

That's what they did to the TPB data centers...

Well, usually nothing happens unless you're big enough... Just try rendering those videos and see if it leaves any watermark on the video itself or in the metadata...

R.I.P Torrents. But thats not the end.

My Advice is start using ShadowPlay if you're friend is using NVidia, and GVR for AMD, they're much more smoother for recording. but i already mentioned that before
