CPU overheating causing reboot.

Go to solution Solved by 2FOX,

Ok found the solution. I updated my mb bios and that fixed the problem. Tempt barely goes over 40.

Hey guys I am in need of a cooler because my CPU keeps overheating when I play Dragonage Inquisition. I am still using the stock cooler. My budget is 50 to 80 pounds. I was thinking of the H55 all in one. I want something silent and that will allow for future overclocking. I am using corsair vengeance pro rams. So hopefully some cooler that will not clash with them. FYI my case is Define R4 if that helps.

Also here is the link to the topic on how I narrowed it down to my cpu overheating. If any of you are interested to know. It is still unsolved so if any of you have a solution plz feel free to reply.

Thanks for all your help!

If you want great temps as well as an OC, go with the Nocuta NH-15D, it should be compatible with your ram as the heat sink is raised a good bit where the ram sits.  I have used the Nocuta 14 and it was the best air cooler I've used to date.
