Hi,

So these are my specs:

i7 3930k

GTX970 g1 gaming

P9 X79 Mobo

24 gb ram

My initial plan was to buy a H240x or H220x from swiftech and modify it to also cool my gpu.. But the whole set would cost me ~300 euro.

So now I thought of making a custom loop under 300 euro, but I have no idea what parts I would have to buy, in order to meet the requirements of cooling both cpu and gpu without spending too much money.

Like, would a 240 rad be enough and do I buy a 30 euro cpu block or a 100 euro??

If you go to the FAQ you can find a basic CPU loop. Add $100 for a GPU block, then another $100 for a second rad and 4 more fittings.

Feel free to PM for any water-cooling questions. Check out my profile for more ways to contact me.

So far I found these parts:

CPU BLOCK:http://www.highflow.nl/water-blocks/cpu-blocks/intel/ek-supreme-ltx-csq-nickel-plexi.html

VGA BLOCK: http://www.highflow.nl/water-blocks/gpu-blocks/nvidia/ek-fc970-gtx-wf3-nickel.html

Pump: http://www.highflow.nl/pompen/andere-fabrikanten/ek-dcp-4.0-pwm-12v-dc-pwm-pump.html

Radiator: http://www.highflow.nl/radiatoren/3-x-120mm-360/swiftech-mcr320-360-radiator.html

Fittings: http://www.highflow.nl/aansluitingen/fittingen/3-8-fitting-10mm-od/10mm-3-8-id-1-2-od-ek-psc-schroeffitting-g1-4-nickel.html

and a 250 tube reservoir, not sure wich one yet.

I'm not sure though if this radiator will be enough in thickness or that I should just get another radiator. You told in your FAQ post to get atleast a 240mm rad for each main component, but this would get a little too pricy for me.

I hope this setup will be enough and compatible.
