Hi guys. So I have 3 hard drives in my computer, an ssd for the OS and applications, one hdd for games, and one hdd for music, movies, and tv shows. I just built the system and had been downloading all of my libraries to these new drives, so they were definitely being used a lot. I noticed today that when I was downloading some movies that they would get to a certain point then stop and start redownloading from the beginning. I exited iTunes and that's when everything went crazy on me. The hard drive deleted the data that was on it, and then none of the applications on my OS would open and windows kept shutting down and restarting. I took the computer to my local pc shop and he tested all of the drives and he said the hard drive that had my games on it was causing his pc to freeze. He then unplugged that drive and the computer seemed to work fine after that.

Basically I was wondering how would that hard drive cause problems with windows when it wasn't even being used at the time, since I was using the hard drive that had media on it and not the one that had games. Also, when I took the hard drive that had games on it home, I plugged it into a hot swap bay on my other computer and it worked fine. Does anyone know if it's something more than just the hard drive. Thanks
