I got a EVGA GTX 980 SC for Christmas and everything was good for a while but suddenly I would be in the middle of a game and both of my displays would go out and the only way to get them to come back on would be to turn off the whole computer. The I've been watching the temps and everything seems fine. Is the card just faulty? Any one have an idea what's wrong?

SPECS:

CPU - i7 3770

RAM - 16gb Corsair 1600mhz

GPU - Evga GTX 980 SC

MOBO - ASUS h61m

Some Samsung ones , it has to be the card though because before I had a Gtx 770 and never had a problem also 60hz

I would advise troubleshooting the issue at hand. ie check cables and switch them out. Reinstall the drivers for the graphics card and do a clean install. Try a different card on the monitor or the mobo integrated graphics if you have one. Make sure your gpu and power cables are connected. Troubleshoot and eliminate potential causes.
