Okay so I am planning to upgrade my pc, 

 

current parts are:

 

8GB ram ddr3

 

Intel Core i5-3330 CPU @ 3.00GHz  4 Cores

 

AMD HD 6670 2GB 

2 TB of memory 

PSU: Channel well technology, 450w Max 220v 47-63 Hz

Motherboard: MSI H61mp31/w8

 

Items to be upgraded:

Corsair CP-9020054-UK RM Series RM650 80 Plus Gold 650W

MSI NVIDIA GTX 980 Gaming Graphics Card (4GB, PCI Express, 256 Bit)

 

 

so my actual question is will MSI gtx 980 is gonna fit my Motherboard ? will it be compatible ???   I do not know what PCI E my mother board has I know for what that Gtx 980 requires PCI E x16  can anyone help me in finding whether gtx 980 will be compatible ?

wow that is a very small motherboard!  

 

according to MSI's website, it has 1 PCI-E x16 (Gen 3) slot.  you should be OK.
