USB over cat5/6

I've got an application where a usb device needs to be run for approx 25-30m.

I've heard that usb doesn't really work over 5m.

 

I came across this solution that should in theory solve that problem. This can also be run to around 50m

I was wondering if anyone of you have used these before and had any luck or not.
