Microphone is muting unexpectedly

My computer is randomly muting my microphone on my headsets. I have tried this with multiple headsets and get the same results. After about a few minutes of going into some drivers or the windows setting for the microphones they will go back to being muted with a volume of zero. The headsets I have used were the corsair vengeance 2100(wireless usb) and the astro a30(two prong analog) headsets. I have experienced some blue screens when I go to change my audio settings as well. I have ran Ccleaner and did a malwarebytes scan to see if anything could be interfering with the headsets. When I am able to talk the volume of the microphone will slide all the way up to 100. I have no idea what is going on and help will be much appreciated.
