No USB boot option BIOS?

I'm trying to try linux on an old computer. However the biggest problem is that there doesn't seem to be a boot menu. I've tried esc, f1, f2, f4, f6, f8, f9, f10, f11, f12 and del. The only key that seems to do something is f9 which brings up the bios screen. It is Phoenix - Award WorkstationBIOS. I went under "Boot" but there was nothing about usb devices. Any help?

A lot of old computers didn't have USB as a boot option. How old are we talking?

Well I think it was custom built but it should be new enough to do usb. It has a pentium 4, 1gb of ram.

Strange, i've used a dell that was similar to this computer in terms of age and specs. I was able to boot through USB tho.

You might not be able to but that doesnt mean a linux install is impossible. I guess you can use Boot priority, it acts the same

as USB Boot only its automatic and will boot everytime on the 1st selected.

- 'YOLO' doesn't exist in the PC World!
