i want an op for gaming rendering etc and i was wondering win 7 ultimate or professional were im buying it from (http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Technology/Software/Operating-Systems) its only 7 dollars apart

that ultimate is an upgrade version.meaning you can use it to upgrade from a previous version of windows,but it isn't a standalone windows installation.

so obviously the windows 7 professional.

generally though ultimate is higher up than professional and offers more features,though next to nobody needs those features.

What features come in Ultimate?

I can't recall off the top of my head,mostly some useless bloatware.

 

-bitlocker drive encryption (bloatware for most people)

- 35 languages (rip off that it doesn't come with the standard windows 7 home premium edition)

 

and I recall seeing some security programs last time I checked but I don't see them included on the list anymore.
