On the cheap precolored? EK EKoolant Premium is pretty good for that... On the other hand I would go distilled water with a Mayhems Pastel Coolant Concentrate added into it.

Mayhems, always stick to Mayhems.... its expensive but it IS the best you can get and I have never had a single issue with any of the loops I have built using it. Play it safe and get 2L of it. If its too much you then have the ability to top up later down the road or drain the loop in 6 months and replace the coolant.

What is the best water cooling liquid you can buy for the money planning to replace the stock liquid in a swiftech h240-x cpu water cooler.

best? would be strictly distilled water. since most of any coloring dyes are a

powder base, the risk of any separation is viable. that goes for all color based

coolants. the only "additive" needed is a algicide or a kill coil. the dyes are for

looks and no real extension of bettering the cooling properties of the coolant.

A corrosion inhibitor helps as well, if you're mixing metals. :)
