i7 4790k with Msi z87m

I recently just aquired all the parts for my first built and as you see in the title I have a i7 4790k with a Msi z87m Mobo. I heard these 2 are not compatible and I don't have another cpu to update to the most recent bios update. Please help!

As far as i can see on MSI's page the Z87M-G43 is not compatible with the i7-4790k - even with an up to date BIOS. http://ca.msi.com/support/mb/Z87MG43.html#support-cpu

 

Why did you get a motherboard with an outdated chipset in the first place instead of buying a motherboard that comes with a Z97 or a H97?

If the board above is the one you have, it'll support the 4790K.  Support was added in Bios v1.2, the latest Bios version being v1.4
